F or he had such an inexhaustible fund, of edify ing pleasant discourse such a constant cheerfulness and flow of spirits, attended with the most serious piety so obliging a readiness to hear others and so unaffected a desire to make allabout him happy: that there never was perhaps a'man batter q ialified to recommend Christianit in the way of conversation nor were his endeavours in t is way without success.
